What is the Walt Disney FAMA certification and what does it mean?

Disney is the largest products licensor in the world, licensing characters and stories to third parties to produce and sell Disney-branded products, such as toys, food, books, games and of course fashion.

With Disney-branded products being produced in over 100 countries across the globe, responsible sourcing is an important focus of Disney’s overall corporate responsibility efforts.

Facility and Merchandise Authorization (FAMA) is the certification authorised by Disney where branded products can only be made or handled at a certified facility. As a Disney FAMA certified supplier, Elite Labels is authorised to manufacture and distribute products bearing intellectual property of The Walt Disney Company and its affiliates, such as Marvel, Pixar and Star Wars.

Supply chain code of conduct

We are committed to adhering to Disney’s supply chain standards to meet their corporate and social responsibility objectives. This includes:

This also includes measuring, managing and disclosing environmental impacts, including public reporting on annual environmental performance in areas such as greenhouse gas emissions, water use and waste generation
• establishing management systems to continually monitor and address workplace conditions
• Creating, manufacturing, processing, and delivering products and services that aim to meet the highest quality standards
